GRAND FORKS, N.D. - It may be for the wrong reasons — high gas prices and rising unemployment -but the number of deaths on Minnesota roads tumbled in 2008 to the lowest total since the end of World War II.
LaMOURE, N.D. — The Highway Patrol says an all-terrain vehicle rolled over in a dirt field near LaMoure, killing the 13-year-old driver. The name of the child has not yet been released. The patrol said the crash happened about 6 p.m. Monday.
BECKER COUNTY, Minn. – The 36-year-old rural Detroit Lakes, Minn., man who died on Monday after he flipped his car while trying to elude a sheriff’s deputy has been identified as James Douglas McPherson.
