Kindred's Laura Podolak signs to play golf at UND 
FARGO – Laura Podolak from Oxbow, N.D., is continuing her family’s tradition of playing Division I golf.
Podolak, who graduated from Kindred (N.D.) High School this spring, officially signed a national letter of intent this week to continue her golfing career at the University of North Dakota.

MANKATO, Minn. – Fergus Falls dropped both of its games at the Minnesota Class 2A state softball tournament Thursday, ending the Otters’ season.
Fergus Falls opened with a 2-0 loss against Rockford. Gabby Stocks had three of the Otters’ four hits.

New York Mills' state softball trip years in the making 
Fargo - New York Mills pitcher Autumn Roberts remembers her senior catcher Jenna Esala immediately crying. It was an inside fastball in the bottom of the seventh with two runners on from Roberts that was turned on and sent over the left-field fence in last season’s Minnesota Class 1A, Section 6 championship. It gave Sebeka a 3-2 win and the Eagles their 26th straight season without a trip to state.
