Taylor says many of the violations occurred on football coach’s own time
North Dakota State University athletic director Gene Taylor said Tuesday he’s talked to head football coach Craig Bohl in the past about his speeding tickets and renewed that conversation on Tuesday.
The only thing that wasn’t beaten, battered or bruised Saturday afternoon at the Fargodome was a piece of rock that weighs 78 pounds. North Dakota State carried the Dakota Marker off the turf like a newborn baby.
Matthew Gratzek has lifted plenty of weights during his five years with North Dakota State’s football program. So 78 pounds really shouldn’t have been much of a challenge for the 290-pound defensive tackle.
