The Red River again rose about a foot overnight to 27.40 feet at 6:15 a.m., up from 26.42 feet at 10 p.m. The weather service still predicts the river will peak in Fargo on Saturday be-tween 37 feet and 39 feet.
Kent Olson figured his sandbagging days were behind him. Like most of his neighbors along Forest River Road just south of Fargo, he had enough after last year and told Cass County officials he’d take a buyout offer.
