FARGO – North Dakota Rep. Rick Berg has picked up a valuable endorsement from one of the state’s most high-profile Republicans.
North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven officially backs Berg’s Senate run this year in a new campaign ad that debuted Wednesday on North Dakota TV stations.
FARGO – The digital posterity of YouTube can be revealing. Case in point? Turns out North Dakota Republican Rep. Rick Berg‘s first Senate campaign ad isn’t all that original.
Florida blogger and Virginia native Kenton Ngo stumbled upon Berg’s “Mom” ad and points out that the concept has been done before – just last year, in fact, by a former Democratic state lawmaker in Virginia.
FARGO – With 36 days until the North Dakota Republican Party‘s state convention, Rep. Rick Berg is making his campaign debut Wednesday on statewide airwaves in order to spread the message of his U.S. Senate bid.
FARGO – It seems North Dakota Republican Rep. Rick Berg isn’t yet done with his town-hall tour while home on congressional break this month.
Berg announced minutes ago he’s planned one final public meeting with his constituents in Jamestown before returning to his Capitol Hill duties.
Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, says it’s impossible to calculate exact wealth but says Rep. Rick Berg, R-N.D., could be worth as much as $59 million and Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., almost $53 million.
In the Friday, Aug. 12, edition of The Forum, you report that Congressman Rick Berg, R-N.D., said that he supported the raising of the debt ceiling only after the enabling legislation included “a requirement that both houses of Congress vote on a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”
FARGO – Rep. Rick Berg will hear North Dakotans’ questions and comments tonight in Fargo during his last town hall meeting this month.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School, 20 29th Ave. N. It’s open to the public.
FARGO – It’s August, and that typically means Congress is on its summer holiday, when representatives can spend time back in their home districts.
Rep. Rick Berg plans to do just that by holding at least six town hall meetings throughout the state this month.
