CHURCHS FERRY, N.D. – The Gardendwellers Farm Produce Party Farmer’s Market Association, a nonprofit group of regional producers, will host a farmers market here from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 5 featuring an array of vegetable growers, artists and craftsmen.
By the time you read this, I’ll be in a house full of screaming kids, Viking-loving in-laws, discussion about the weather and maybe a hotdish or two. It’s Christmastime in Minnesota, and that’s a good thing.
It’s not a Christmas project, but it could be. Because in this season in which giving is a top priority, the artwork taking shape in the new downtown Fargo Public Library is a gift both to the Fargo-Moorhead area and to impoverished nations around the world.
