North Dakota’s largest health insurance company and some leading health providers pledged today to work together to trim medical inflation.
The initiative seeks to reduce the annual rate of medical inflation, now averaging 8 percent, to 6.5 percent in three years.
FARGO – The state medical examiner’s office has determined carbon monoxide poisoning was the cause of death for former Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota president Michael Unhjem, Fargo police stated in a news release.
Michael Unhjem was widely known in his former role as president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, but following his death Monday, friends and colleagues were also remembering his vast work in the community.
