FARGO – It was a night of strong voices Tuesday at the Fargo Theatre.
Headliner Javier Colon, winner of NBC’s reality show/vocal showcase “The Voice,” wowed the near-capacity crowd with a mix of covers and original songs off his new album, “Come Through for You.”
A crew for a documentary film chronicling Buddy Holly’s final tour in January and February 1959 will be in the Fargo-Moorhead area in February, filming interviews with fans who saw the show at the Moorhead Armory on Feb. 3, 1959.
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, with guest conductor Jane Linde Capistran and guest vocalist Marcus Hanson, will present its Holiday Pops Concert at 4 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Fergus Theatre, 124 W. Lincoln Ave.
The music department at Concordia College will present a free choirs and bells concert at 4 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Auditorium featuring Cantabile, Männerchor, the Concordia Chapel Choir, Bel Canto, Campana and Tintinnabula.
It was quite a busy summer for singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile.
