MOORHEAD - Ed Fortin died Monday at Eventide Senior Living Community in Moorhead.
He was 81.
Mr. Fortin taught physical education and coached sports at Moorhead South Junior High, where I attended school in the 1970s.
FARGO - Two large construction projects are going up on the north edge of Fargo.
One, a Prinsco Inc. facility that is nearing completion at 4141 37th St. N., will manufacture high-density plastic pipe products for use in water management, including many products for the agricultural market.
The other project is a large warehouse taking shape just to the east of the Prinsco plant.
Mark Vaux, who until recently was the economic development and community services director for the city of West Fargo, has accepted a job as executive vice president of business development at the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp.
