The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have reported that as of Dec. 22, state and federal assistance to North Dakotans for spring flooding response and recovering now totals more than $150 million in grants and loans.
BISMARCK – U.S. Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., made separate visits to the North Dakota House and Senate on Tuesday, telling them he is convinced the state’s flooding effects will trigger federal aid that will cover 90 percent of the damage and praising state residents for their vigorous efforts to save lives and property.
