Minnesota’s $6.2 billion deficit can’t be focused on until numbers official
ST. PAUL – The leader of Minnesota’s governor race fears a delay in naming a winner past mid-December will hinder state budget preparation.
ST. PAUL – The Minnesota State Canvassing Board ordered a statewide recount in the governor’s race Monday while trying to balance campaigns’ rights to challenge local election decisions with limiting frivolous challenges.
ST. PAUL – Hit the rewind button for 2008. Minnesotans probably will wait weeks to find out who they elected governor while they watch judges wade through stacks of ballots to decide a winner in the tight race.
