More people decided to get seasonal flu shots, which led to lighter flu season
Last year’s H1N1 scare had droves of people lining up for shots to ward off the so-called “swine flu,” but Dr. Curt Nyhus also noticed a positive side effect.
The Fargo Veterans Affairs Medical Center will provide the H1N1 vaccine to eligible, enrolled veterans at the Fargo VA and the community-based outpatient clinics in Jamestown, Williston, Dickinson, Minot, Grafton, Bismarck and Grand Forks in North Dakota and in Bemidji and Fergus Falls in Minnesota.
