ARGUSVILLE, N.D. – Interstate 29 is closed until further notice because of water covering a stretch of the highway near here.
Northbound and southbound lanes are closed from Cass County Road 20 just north of Fargo to North Dakota Highway 200A south of Hillsboro.
FARGO – Authorities are responding to a rollover accident was reported about 10:45 this morning on Interstate 29 near 40th Avenue South in Fargo. Dispatchers said the driver was reportedly bleeding from the head.
As if to put a punctuation mark on a year dominated by regional floods and tornadoes, the first swing of a two-punch blizzard hammered the area Thursday and caused a massive 100-vehicle pileup west of West Fargo that had emergency crews working into the night to rescue people from stranded vehicles.

Ebinger warns others about winter driving after harrowing holiday trip
Moorhead Police Chief David Ebinger and his wife, Lynne, were driving to Arkansas the weekend before Thanksgiving to visit relatives when their four-wheel-drive pickup hit a patch of icy fog as they turned off Interstate 29 for a rest area.
FARGO – Crews removed the head-to-head traffic around 10 a.m. on the Interstate 29 reconstruction project from approximately the County Road 20 Interchange to just north of the Argusville Interchange, the North Dakota Department of Transportation announced today.
