The Salvation Army’s 2009 Red Kettle campaign raised a record $744,715 in the Fargo-Moorhead area, the organization announced this morning.
The organization’s goal this year was $650,000. The 2008 campaign raised what had been a record $657,270.
Firefighters from Fargo and Moorhead set a record last Thursday for the most money raised in a day for the Salvation Army’s kettle fundraising drive.
