You never know where you’ll find Howie Mandel. Sometimes he’s on stage as a stand-up comedian. He was the hyper-cute voice of Bobby on the cartoon “Bobby’s World,” a cartoon he created. He was on “St. Elsewhere” for six years, he’s the host of NBC’s prank TV show “Howie Do It,” and, of course, he’s given out loads of loot on “Deal or No Deal.” And it just so happens that at 8 p.m. Friday, he’ll be doing his comedy in Mahnomen, Minn. MAHNOMEN, Minn. – Mahnomen County will not appeal a federal court ruling affirming the Shooting Star Casino’s placement into trust status, which exempts the facility owned by the White Earth Band of Chippewa from state property taxes.
