BISMARCK – The Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota are hoping to receive a grant that would help with crime prevention on the reservation.
The tribes are seeking an Operation Weed and Seed grant through the U.S. Department of Justice.
BISMARCK, N.D. – Interior Secretary Ken Salazar says $500 million in federal stimulus money will go to American Indian tribes across the U.S. for schools, housing, infrastructure improvements and job programs on reservations.
United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck has been invited to participate in the Inaugural Parade on Jan. 20 in Washington.
