Workshop to combine meditation, yoga and working with horses

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — This weekend in Detroit Lakes you could have the opportunity to combine the therapeutic and insightful experience of working with horses with the personal benefits of yoga and meditation.

In a joint workshop put on by Naturally Randi Kay and HorseSong Coaching, participants will create a deeper relationship with themselves and others through yoga and equine-guided coaching.

"The awareness and relaxation of yoga combined with the powerful learning that comes from working with horses can create an incredible environment for deep healing — one that you just won't find anywhere else in the area," says Randi Kay Olsen Heinold, a registered yoga teacher.

The workshop will consist of two sessions. The morning session focuses on a person's relationship with themselves, while the afternoon session centers on a person's relationship with others.

HorseSong Coaching with Martha Keeler Olsen specializes in personal life coaching and equine-guided corporate training and professional development.

"You can learn a lot about being human from a horse," she says.

Naturally Randi Kay focuses on healing the deep sources of pain through integrated bodywork, therapeutic yoga and self-care mentoring.
