Hillsboro woman accused of fleeing police with meth, 3-year-old in car
FARGO — A Hillsboro woman is accused of being involved in a police pursuit here Tuesday that ended with officers searching her vehicle and discovering methamphetamines, a weapon and a 3-year-old child inside her vehicle.
Sasha Oster, 35, was charged Wednesday in Cass County District Court with one count of possession of methamphetamines and one count of meth paraphernalia, both Class C felonies, and one count of marijuana paraphernalia, a Class B misdemeanor.
A West Fargo police officer found Oster and her vehicle in the 800 block of Homestead Court in West Fargo about 2:25 a.m. Tuesday after Fargo police asked his department for help in a pursuit of Oster's vehicle, documents say.
Oster, who had an outstanding warrant and a suspended license, consented to a search. The officer found a weapon and her 3-year-old child, and meth and drug paraphernalia, documents say.
Oster told the officer that two men had fled the car just before he arrived, documents say. She identified them as Jordon Phillip Overmyer and Gene Oscar Wilkie of Hillsboro, documents say. They were charged in January in connection with a high-speed pursuit in Clay County that ended with police allegedly finding an explosive device in the car.
