ATV driver accused of striking 6-year-old near Pelican Rapids changes plea

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Pelican Rapids woman accused of hitting a boy while driving an ATV and leaving the scene has changed her plea to guilty in Otter Tail County Court.

Abigail Feist, 24, was driving the vehicle in March outside the Pelican Rapids Supper Club when she hit the 6-year-old boy and left the scene.

The boy had minor injuries in the crash.

Feist faces misdemeanor charges of criminal vehicular operation and is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
