Minot woman, 26, charged with criminal conspiracy to murder
MINOT, N.D. -- Minot police have arrested a 26-year-old city woman on charges of criminal conspiracy to murder in the death of a 30-year-old woman almost 18 months ago.
Cynthia Wilder was taken into custody late Friday morning and is being held in the Ward County Jail for her alleged involvement in the homicide death of Angela Wilder on Nov. 13, 2015.
Details on how the 30-year-old woman died and the connection between the two weren’t released by Minot police --with police saying only that Angela Wilder was the victim of apparent trauma.
However, Police Capt. John Klug said that after a follow-up investigation “detectives had enough information to charge” Wilder in the case this week.
She also been charged with accomplice to escape for her alleged role in an escape attempt by her husband, Richie Wilder, last August.
In November of 2015, police reported that they had ruled Angela Wilder’s death a homicide after crime scene technicians processed the scene for almost an entire day. They had been called to a home in northwest Minot in the early morning hours of Nov. 13 where officers thought there were suspicious circumstances.
