Two-vehicle crash in Hope sends multiple people to the hospital

HOPE -- Many people are hurt after a vehicle crash 3 miles west of Hope, North Dakota.

The crash happened at 2:08 PM Sunday afternoon.

A 2015 Toyota Rav 4, carrying Nicholas Pietron and Lindsey Pietron, was driving North on Highway 32.

The Toyota was then hit on the passenger side by a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by an unidentified 17 year old; also carrying an unidentified 15 and 10 year old.

After the impact, the Ford continued into the ditch on the North East side of the intersection.

The driver of the Ford pickup was taken by life flight to the Sanford in Fargo.

The other occupants were taken to Sanford by ambulance.

The crash is currently being investigated by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
