Cause of Fargo apartment fire ruled undetermined
FARGO – The Fargo Fire Department said Friday, June 23, that the cause of a blaze that heavily damaged a three-story apartment building here on June 10 has been ruled undetermined.
The fire forced residents to evacuate the building and claimed the lives of a cat and three birds.
The fire department found flames on second- and third-story balconies, and flames extended throughout the attic space of the building and into a third-floor apartment.
The fire caused moderate damage to a second-floor apartment, heavy damage to a third-floor apartment and compromised the structural integrity of the roof.
Five people lived in the third-story apartment heavily damaged by fire. No injuries were reported.
