Motorcyclists lead police on high-speed chase in Clay County

Dustin Galbreath, Kindred, led police on a chase in Clay County.

CLAY COUNTY—A 21-year-old man was arrested and his accomplice got away after leading police on a high-speed chase on their sport motorcycles.

At 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, a Clay County deputy tried to pull over Dustin Galbreath of Kindred and his accomplice on County Road 10 in rural East Clay County, but the motorcycles were able to get too far ahead to stop.

Later, a different trooper pulled behind the motorcycles and attempted to pull them over again. Galbreath and his accomplice sped off again with authorities in pursuit.

The chase brought them into Sabin and finally Moorhead, when Galbreath then pulled over and was put into custody.

The other motorcycle rider was able to escape.

The chase lasted around 20 minutes. Galbreath was booked into Clay County Jail.
