FARGO — A bicyclist received minor injury after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday, Dec. 6.

At 5:40 p.m., a vehicle was southbound on 12th Street North in Fargo when a bicyclist entered the intersection of 12th Street and 7th Avenue North, according to Sgt Jim VanLith.

VanLith said the vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Moorhead man tried to stop, but slick roads caused the vehicle to hit the eastbound bicyclist as he attempted to cross 12th Street.

No citations were given to the driver and the bicyclist, a 61-year-old Fargo man, was taken to the hospital for injuries that VaLith said were not life threatening.
