FARGO – A van slammed through the front of a store here Saturday afternoon, sending three people to the hospital.

Capt. Lee Soeth of the Fargo Fire Department said shortly after 1:30 p.m., a Honda Odyssey that had been parked in front of Discount Market at 2305 Main Ave. surged forward and drove through the front windows of the store.

Soeth said the driver was taken to the hospital as were two people from inside the store. He didn't know the patients’ conditions but didn’t believe them to be life-threatening.

The driver had been shopping inside the store before the accident.

Soeth said the incident appeared to be an accident and estimated the damage to the store at around $5,000.
