Two Dickinson residents injured after crashing into parked excavator

DICKINSON, N.D.– Two Dickinson residents were injured after their pickup struck a parked excavator Saturday morning.

Antonio Redshirt, 25, was driving the 1994 Ford F-150 at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Cove Court when he drove the pickup into the front of the unoccupied excavator, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Redshirt and his passenger, Tyrone Redshirt, 24, were not wearing their seatbelts. Both were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The pickup was totaled and the excavator sustained minimal damage, according to a press release.

Antonio Redshirt was charged with driving under the influence. The crash remains under investigation.
