One sent to hospital in Fargo-Moorhead interstate crash

Minnesota State Patrol officials have announced a two-car crash that occurred Friday evening on Interstate-94 at the Red River that sent a woman to the hospital.

According to the MSP, both a Ford Taurus, carrying three occupants, and a Honda Civic, carrying two, were westbound on I-94 when the Taurus collided with the Civic from behind. The driver of the Civic was transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

The crash happened under icy conditions, and shortly before a nearby three-car crash snarled traffic and sent two to the same hospital.
