Alcohol involved in Thursday rollover near Waubun
FARGO – A Park Rapids, Minn., woman was airlifted to a Fargo hospital Thursday, May 24, after her vehicle rolled several times near Waubun, Minn.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Julie Ann Kristofferson, 48, was southbound on U.S. Highway 59 shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday when her vehicle left the road on the northbound side. After striking a field approach, her vehicle rolled several times before coming to a rest on its wheels.
Kristofferson was taken to Mahnomen (Minn.) Health Center for treatment of unknown injuries that were not life-threatening, the patrol said. She was later flown to Sanford Health in Fargo.
A news release said alcohol was involved in the crash. It’s unknown if Kristofferson was wearing a seat belt.
