4 arrested after drug bust on central Minn. reservation
WHITE EARTH, Minn.—Four people were arrested after a months-long investigation into heroin trafficking on the White Earth Reservation in northwest Minn., authorities said Thursday, Feb. 22.
According to a release from White Earth Police, the four were arrested after search warrants were executed in the village of White Earth and the city of Mahnomen. Arrested were Steven Gant, 34, of Plymouth, Minn., Dylan Warren, 29, Ogema, Minn., Jameson Jackson, 32, Mahnomen and Joni Bush, 30, Mahnomen. Authorities also seized $5,200 in heroin, $4,000 in cash and two vehicles.
The case remains under investigation. Agencies involved include the the White Earth Police
Department, Becker County Sheriff's Office, Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office, Detroit Lakes Police Department, West Central Drug Task Force, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force and the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
