Construction on Main Avenue bridge suspended during Red River Valley Fair
WEST FARGO — Construction crews will suspend work on the Main Avenue bridge ahead of the Red River Valley Fair. Now through Monday, July 16, the I-94 and Main Avenue bridge will be open for two-way traffic.
Congestion through the area is still anticipated despite the suspension of the construction project. Traffic control devices will remain onsite through the duration of the project.
Work will resume July 16 and the westbound Main Avenue traffic traveling eastbound on I-94 will be detoured to the Raymond exit, Exit 342) to enter eastbound traffic. The length of the detour is approximately 2.5 miles.
