WE Fest parking restrictions announced

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation, along with the Minnesota State Patrol, have released parking restrictions in preparation for WE Fest attendees. Prior to Monday, July 30, any vehicles arriving are not allowed to park along U.S. Highway 59. Any vehicles parked along the shoulder are subject to removal and penalty from the state patrol.

Vehicles parked along Highway 59 on or after Monday must be parked on the shoulder. Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk. Guests must stay within their vehicles and are not allowed to set up chairs, grills or camps outside of their vehicles.

The area will be patrolled by WE Fest security and the state patrol.
