FARGO—An office supply store here is almost ready to unveil its redesigned look after cutting down the size of the retail location and revamping its products and services.

Office Depot, 4630 13th Ave. S., has several activities planned for its grand reopening from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 17, including a 4 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, a petting zoo in the parking lot, face painting, a food truck, cupcakes and beverages. The store will also offer a 20 percent discount on most of its products and a special price on business card orders during the event.

In an email interview, Fargo Store Manager Timothy Rheault said the Office Depot company headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla, is rolling out this new store design across the country.

"This redesign focuses on providing a relevant, curated selection of quality products and services as part of an engaging shopping experience," he wrote.

The stores are smaller now, but Rheault said they're also "right-sized" to better serve customer needs. The redesign includes curated selections of products arranged with a "Good, Better, Best" system, as well as a more convenient and organized layout and expert associates ready to help.

As part of the redesign, Fargo's Office Depot building was split into two commercial units with the store occupying one of the spaces. Rheault said Office Depot isn't involved with the other part of the building.

In addition to a refined selection of products and a new layout, he said the store now offers new and enhanced services, such as in-store professional technology support and new print and copy and mail and ship services.

The Fargo store is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (701) 277-0349.
