Bakery, shake shop to open in south Fargo shopping center

FARGO—Two businesses are preparing to open in a south Fargo shopping center.

Documents filed to the city's plan routing system in recent days show Challenge Nutrition will fit up a lease space at Timber Creek Retail Center, 5050 Timber Parkway S. The plans were approved by the inspections department earlier this week.

The shopping center near Interstate 29 and 52nd Avenue South already houses several businesses, including Anytime Fitness, Polished Nail Spa, Ignite Chiropractic and Sport Clips. It's near the proposed Fargo Outlets at Timber Creek that Property Resources Group is currently developing.

Jen's Breads also recently filed documents to fit up a suite in the retail center. Owner Jen Woinarowicz posted to Facebook earlier this week that she'll move her business there in November and open as Jen's Bakery.

She started the business seven years ago, making bread, cookies and more at commercial kitchen facility Square One, 1407 1st Ave. N., Fargo. She currently sells Jen's Breads products at markets and other stores around the region.
