Dragons volleyball ends Augustana tournament on high note

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—The Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball team took care of Black Hills State in four sets on Saturday in their final showing at the Augustana tournament.

The Dragons won 28-26, 26-28, 25-19, 25-13.

Kaylyn Jenkins led the way with 14 kills for the Dragons, and Lauren Kiewiet supplied 24 assists and a pair of aces.

Black Hills State's Jessy Hibl came away with 17 digs, and Madison Hoopman had 12 kills.

The victory ended a three-match losing streak for the Dragons, who now sit at 4-3 overall on the season. They open NSIC conference play against Minot State Thursday night in Moorhead.
