Street art made of duct tape pops up around Moorhead
MOORHEAD, Minn. —There are some big flowers springing up around Moorhead.
This week, you might spot these pretty petals around the city.
It's a partnership between Mayor Del Rae Williams and artist David Cook, known as the "Flower Bomber."
These flowers are completely made of duct tape and they'll only appear in one location for one day before moving to another place.
The artist said they're just meant to bring some happiness to people as we come to the end of summer.
"It's just some positive energy, it's not rocket science, it's just a smile, that's it. you know, you can't help but smile when you see these," David Cook said.
You can see the flowers pop up Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Rourke Art Museum.
