Fae Krueger, 94, West Fargo, ND died on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo.
Illa Fae Esterline was born Feb. 28, 1923 near Malden, MO to Elmer and Nettie (Cunningham) Esterline. She grew up in Missouri and attended rural school. Fae married Kenneth Krueger on Oct. 28, 1947 at Bernie, MO. They farmed at Alice, ND, Leonard, ND and Verona, ND. In 1990, they retired and moved to Valley City, ND and later moved to Fargo in 1999 and settled in West Fargo.
Family was of utmost importance to Fae and being at her children and grandchildren's activities. Fae enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She had her own ceramic shop for several years and volunteered quilting for missions and Project Linus. She was active in her church, ladies groups and served as Sunday school superintendent and teacher. She also volunteered at the Valley City Senior Center and Cooperative Living Center in West Fargo.
She is survived by four children, Keith Krueger, Chula Vista, CA, Ron (Mary) Krueger, Moorhead, MN, Bonnie (Jim) Daniels, Oakes, ND and Terri (Lynda) Krueger, West Fargo; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother, John (Esther) Esterline, Cincinnati, OH; sister, Doris Hoggard, Bernie, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry; two grandsons, Darrin and Daniel Krueger; parents; 9 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Funeral: Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 AM at Flame of Faith United Methodist Church, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.
Interment: Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Chaffee, ND.
