Theresa Kay Olmstead
Theresa Kay Olmstead
Theresa Kay Olmstead was born on February 11, 1958 in Davenport, IA to Conrad and Kathleen Andrews. Theresa passed away peacefully at her home in Fargo on September 11, 2018. After many childhood moves, the move to Fargo in 1969 would soon be her final stop and where she would call home. She attended Nativity and Shanley High School. She began her freshman year at UND in Grand Forks. She came back to Fargo to work in the emergency room at Dakota Hospital for many years. She then studied for two years at NDSU, worked as a para in the Fargo School System and worked with the ESL and refugee population in West Fargo. Her sense of humor and love for the people she worked with made her job so full-filling.
On November 24, 1984 she married Timothy Roy Olmstead. Together they raised their five daughters in Fargo, ND. Theresa will always be remembered for her humor, her kind heart, her endless ability to talk on the phone, her love for a good emoji, the love she had for her kids, the joy her grandchildren gave her, her love for her past fur babies, the endless jokes between her and Tim, the love she had for her siblings, the relationship she built with her mom and dad and the list could go on and on. She will always be remembered for being the best mom to her five daughters.
Theresa is preceded in death by her father, Conrad Andrews. Theresa is survived by her husband, Timothy Olmstead; daughters, Bobbi (Adam) Skarphol, Jenna Olmstead, Sarah (Jordan) Coles, Hannah Olmstead and Haley Olmstead; siblings, Christine Haug, Matthew Andrews, Eileen Andrews; her mother, Kathleen Andrews, Michael Andrews; grandchildren, William Skarphol, Maxwell Skarphol, Payton Coles and Hattie Coles.
