Letter: Will the uninformed rule North Dakota?

Columnist Rob Port continues to attack North Dakota higher education. As usual, he has no answers or qualifications to come up with improving higher education in North Dakota.

As an emeritus professor of technology and reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission for over 35 years, I contend we should be more positive about many of the exceptional things that have resulted from the North Dakota higher education system.

Yes, let's review the governance structure, and include the many positives during this review. Also, this review is not a novel idea. Rep. Al Carlson, R-Fargo, and former Rep. Bob Skarphol, R-Tioga, have been working on this issue for years.
