Letter: Expensive new hospital should provide vehicle plugins for staff
Sanford spent nearly half a billion dollars on a new hospital in Fargo and did not have the foresight to put in plugins for staff to use for block heaters during present and future extremely cold weather.
Not all staff have late-model cars. And even with a new battery, this extreme cold makes it nearly impossible to start some cars, especially after a 12 hour shift. The hardship created for my daughter was disheartening, and would have been alleviated so easily.
I am sure many of the staff had the same issues. Shame on you, Sanford.
