Guidelines:
Wedding, engagement, anniversary and new arrival announcements are published in the Sunday Celebrations section of The Forum. There is a $25 publication fee for these announcements.
Birthday, bridal/baby shower, reunion and Eagle Scout announcements are published in Celebrations one time at no charge. For those placing wedding, engagement, anniversary or new arrival announcements, five copies of the Sunday Forum in which the announcement appears are included in the $25 fee. Copies of the newspaper must be picked up at the main Forum office in downtown Fargo within five days.
There is an additional charge to have the newspapers mailed; ($5 for the Celebrations section only; $10 for the entire Sunday paper, minus inserts). Contact the front counter staff to make mailing arrangements at (701) 241-5486.
The Forum reserves the right to control editorial content on all announcements in the Celebrations section. Information submitted will be edited to fit Forum style guidelines. Also, use of color for photos is not guaranteed.

Following are specific announcement guidelines:
  • Deadline: Noon Tuesday for all information submitted for Celebrations announcements.
  • Anniversaries: Published with or without photos; both the original wedding photo and a current photo may be submitted; for those wanting to use one photo, only a current photo will be published.
  • Birthdays: Information about milestone birthdays may be submitted with or without photos for 60th birthdays and older. Only a current photo will be published.
  • Engagements and weddings: Engagements are published before a couple’s wedding; wedding announcements are published up to one year after the wedding.
  • New arrivals: Published for babies age 1 year and younger; new arrivals can also announce a child’s adoption.
  • Bridal/baby shower, reunion, Eagle Scout: Email information and photos to celebrations@forumcomm.com.
  • Photos: Submitted photos are not saved. To have a photo returned, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope or indicate that the photo will be picked up.
How to submit information:
  • Online: Visit www.inforum.com and click on the “Celebrations” tab for online and printable forms. A photo may be uploaded to the online form and payments can be made with a credit card where applicable.
  • Email: Celebrations@forumcomm.com
  • Mail: Celebrations, The Forum, PO Box 2020, Fargo, ND 58107. Include a daytime telephone number and enclose a check or money order for $25 made payable to The Forum.
  • Forum offices: Forms are available at the front counters of The Forum’s main office at 101 5th St. N., Fargo, or at the Moorhead Center Mall.
