The view you have in the window when you "save" your work is the view the public will see when they first open the map. PLEASE zoom out a bit and center the map so users can get their bearings quickly.
In addition. The "overlay" (Map, Satellite, Hybrid, Terrain) setting you are using when you save your changes to the map is the view users will see when they first access the map. Please keep it set to "map" view.
Lastly, please don't add frivolous items to the map, such as your home. They will be deleted. This is an service for people to share important information. Unnecessary information only gets in the way of people trying to communicate. If it continues, we will remove the editor (and this map will update considerably slower).
