| The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead will offer one local college student the opportunity to be an intern at our daily newspaper during the spring of 2011. The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead is a family owned newspaper with an average daily circulation of 50,000. Our website, www.inforum.com, is the state’s No. 1 website with an average of nearly 10 million visits per month. The internship will run from September through December. As an intern, you will work Saturdays mornings and up to 16 other hours during the week. This is a paid internship. | The Forum is located in Fargo, N.D., in the heart of downtown along the Red River. We’re a border town, with Moorhead, Minn., directly across the river. |
| Who | Why |
| To apply you must be a student (preferably a journalism or mass communication major) at one of Fargo-Moorhead’s colleges or universities. You must be at least of sophomore standing and must have published writing clips, either from your college newspaper or by way of a writing internship. | You can expect to gain tons of real-world experience as an intern at The Forum. Interns here are treated like any other employee. Expect also to get paid for your work - $11.25/ hour to be exact. |
