Hoge’s 60 puts him in a tie for fifth place

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Fargo’s Tom Hoge fired a blistering third-round score of 60 Saturday to jump into a tie for fifth place at the PGA’s’s Midwest Classic golf tournament.

Hoge carded 11 birdies at the Nicklaus Golf Course at Lions Gate – two coming on Park 3 holes, six on Par 4’s and three on Par 5’s. It is the lowest 18-hole score of the tournament.

Entering today’s final round, Zach Zucher leads the field with a 20-under 193 score. He is followed by Aaron Watkins (17-under, 196), Jason Gore (14-under, 199) and Bill Lunde (13-under, 200).

Hoge is in a four-way tie for fifth place with a 12-under, 201 score.
