Concordia scores two goals in the third period to come away with a tie

MOORHEAD—Megan Dondelinger and Maiah McCowan each netted goals in the third period for Concordia women's hockey team to come away with a 2-2 tie against St. Olaf on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Riley Anderson scored a goal in the first and second to give St. Olaf (2-5-3, 1-3-2 MIAC) a 2-0 cushion heading into the third period. Cobbers (4-3-2, 3-1-2 MIAC) scored two goals in the first seven minutes of the third period to send it to overtime. The Cobbers applied pressure in the extra frame, outshooting the Oles 8-3, but St. Olaf goalie Kaitlyn Pellicci stopped them all to hold the tie.
