Minot State tops MSUM in men's basketball for the first time since 1994

MINOT, N.D.—Minot State knocked off Minnesota State Moorhead 78-65 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball Saturday, Dec. 2. The Dragons had defeated Minot State 11 straight times before the loss on Saturday.

The Beavers last beat MSUM on Dec. 13, 1994. Minot State (8-1, 2-1 NSIC) led by as many as 23 in the second half. Johnny Beeninga led the Dragons (3-5, 1-1 NSIC) with 16 points.
