Moorhead 3, Chaska 1
PRIOR LAKE, Minn.—Jack Stetz scored two goals to lead the Moorhead Spuds to a 3-1 victory Thursday at the Prior Lake Invitational.
Carter Randklev added a goal and two assists for Moorhead. Cole O'Connell chipped in with three assists. Spuds goalie Lance Leonard had 21 saves.
The Spuds (8-3) play Prior Lake at 5 p.m. Friday.
Fargo North 4, Crookston 3
THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.—Fargo North erased a three-goal first period deficit Thursday to defeat Crookston 4-3 at the Thief River Falls tournament.
Brandt Kolpack scored first for North in the second. Chandler Ibach, Carson Segal, and Austin Streifel also scored for the Spartans.
Luke Olson stopped 32 shots on net for North.
With the win Fargo North improves to 2-7-1 overall.
Fargo South-Shanley 5, Albert Lea 2
ROCHESTER, Minn.—Robby Greicar scored three goals to lead the Fargo South-Shanley Bruins to a 5-2 victory against Albert Lea on Thursday at the Rochester Rotary tournament.
Noah Johnson and Noah Lantz added goals for the Bruins.
South-Shanley (3-4-1) Verona (Wis.) at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Fergus Falls 3, West Fargo 1
FERGUS FALLS, Minn.—Fergus Falls defeated West Fargo 3-1 on Thursday at the Fergus Falls Invitational.
With the loss, the Packers fell to 2-8 overall. West Fargo next plays at 2:30 p.m. Friday against Park Rapids.
North Branch 5, West Fargo Sheyenne 2
LITTLE FALLS, Minn.—Cody Croal scored a hat trick to lead North Branch to a 5-2 victory against West Fargo Sheyenne on Thursday at the Little Falls tournament.
Dalton Hiemer and Jerrell Beatty each had a goal and an assists for the Mustangs, who fell to 2-7 overall. Sheyenne next plays Willmar at noon Friday.
Fargo North-South 5, Sartell-Sauk Rapids 2
Fargo North-South skated to 5-2 victory over Sartell-Sauk Rapids Thursday at the Sartell hockey tournament.
Abby Promesberger scored twice to lead North-South. Josie Hell, Kareena Grothman, and Mackenzie Hanson also scored for North-South.
Brooke Walters had a goal and an assist for Sartell-Sauk Rapids.
With the win, North-South improved to 8-2 overall.
New Ulm 5, West Fargo 0
SARTELL, Minn.—New Ulm skated to a 5-0 victory against West Fargo United on Thursday at the Sartell-Sauk Rapids Invitational.
West Fargo dropped to 7-3-1 overall. United plays Sartell-Sauk Rapids at 2 p.m. Friday.
