MSU-Mankato uses big second half to cruise past the Dragons

MANKATO, Minn.—Charlie Brown scored a game-high 19 points to help lift Minnesota State-Mankato to an 81-58 victory against Minnesota State Moorhead on Saturday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball at the Taylor Center.

Mankato (10-2, 6-0 NSIC) remained unbeaten in the NSIC, handing the Dragons (4-9, 2-5) their fourth consecutive loss. The game was tied at halftime (29-29) before the Mavericks erupted for 52 points in the second half.

Johnny Beeninga and Briton Bussman paced Moorhead with 11 points each. Addison Park added nine points and seven rebounds.
