Ward leads Concordia-St. Paul to win against the Dragons

ST. PAUL—Avan Ward scored 20 points to help lift Concordia-St. Paul to a 72-62 victory against Minnesota State Moorhead on Sunday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball at the Gangelhoff Center.

The Dragons (4-10, 2-6 NSIC) have lost five consecutive games.

Travaun Coad paced MSUM with 16 points and seven rebounds. Addison Park added 13 points, while Tanner Kretchman and Johnny Beeninga chipped in 10 points each. Kretchman had a team-high five assists.
