Moorhead girls win outdoor hockey game in overtime

SARTELL, Minn.—Brenna Mjoness scored an overtime goal to give Moorhead a 3-2 win over Rosemount Saturday in a high school girls hockey game played outdoors.

The goal from Mjoness, with assists from Hailey Hedlund and Kennedy Czichotzki, capped a comeback in which the Spuds overcame a 2-0 deficit in the third period.

Moorhead, now with a 6-10-1 record, got a goal from Brianna Krejci that tied the game 2-2 and a goal from Makayla Keller that cut the lead to 2-1.

Rosemount falls to 6-12-1 overall.
