Cobber softball team drops two games in Florida

CLERMONT, Fla.—Concordia dropped two softball games Monday with a 3-2 loss to Eastern (Pa.) and a 6-4 loss to Alverno (Wis.).

Against Eastern, Elizabet Asp, Nicole Johannes, Brooke Ankerfiet and Taylor Erholtz provided the four hits for the Cobbers. Eastern scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

In the extra-inning loss to Alverno, Johannes went 3-for-4 while Asp had 3 RBI. Abby Haraldson pitched all 8 innings giving up four earned runs. The Cobbers are now 1-3.
